Newham won the toss and elected to bat first in this thirteenth HFEL match of the season, but came up against our 1st XI bowlers in their best of form.  Although Newham made their way to 142 for 5, they then proceeded to lose their next 5 wickets for just 15 runs and were bowled out for 157 with Teddy Waters on fire in taking 6 for 35 - his second '6for' for the Club.

Our run-chase got off to a positive start with Lewis Blake (59) and Salman Khan (54) sparking a 99-run opening partnership, after which other batters chipped in to see us home to a convincing 7-wickets win.
