In the Sunday 1st XI match at North Stifford on 11th May, Newham batted first but had no answer to the superb bowling of Tilly Barnett who returned a career-best 6 for 40 in only 7 overs to dismiss Newham for just 104 in 21 overs.

In our reply after tea, Vansh Mehra stroked a fine half-century (following his 93* in the 3rd XI's winning League match the previous day), and we romped home to an impressive 7-wickets victory in just 18 overs.
