this ECCB Trevor Bailey Under 16 Shield match at North Stifford on 7th July, Belhus
batted first and posted an impressive total of 224 for 9 from just 33 overs. In-form Louie Mailey was the stand-out batter in the talented Belhus side as he stroked a magnificent
century (117) - his second ton of the season.
224 was always
going to be a tough chase for the Orsett side. And so it proved as they
were bowled out for just 86 with James Maynard snaring 4 excellent outfield catches and
Oliver Davy bowling superbly to capture 4 for 23 to see Belhus march home to a 138-runs
victory.
