JOSH REYNOLDS STROKES MAIDEN CENTURY:
In
the fifth Hamro Foundation Essex League match of the season, our 2nd XI batted
first and racked up an impressive total of of 334 from the allotted 45
overs. Chris Didd struck a typically commanding half-century with 68 from
55 balls, but it was opener Josh Reynolds who stole the show in
stroking his maiden century (118). Well done Josh.
After tea, wickets fell
regularly as James Webb (4-13) and Tyler Robertson (3-17) tore through
the SOSEMT batters as they folded to 72 all out in 23 overs to secure us
a convincing 262-runs victory.
Skipper Jack Plane was naturally
delighted with his team's fourth successive win that sees the 2nd XI
move up to the top of their HFEL Division.
