WINNERS! BELHUS UNDER 11 BLAZE LIFT SECPG T20 CUP.
Belhus batted first as Thomas Loveys, Kayhan Suneel and Alfie Bowden displayed their skills with 25 runs apiece to take the Belhus Under 11 Blaze side to a very respectable 128 for 4 in this T20 South Essex Cricket Participation Group Cup Final.
In the Hadleigh & Thundersley run chase, opener Alex Watson posted 33 not out but the rest of the batters couldn't contribute sufficient runs to reach the required target and they closed on 82 for 8. We won by a comfortable margin of 46 runs as all of our players fielded magnificently and of our bowlers, Reuben Hart and Alfie Bowden captured 2 wickets apiece. Well played team!
This really was an outstanding cup-winning performance by our Under 11 Blaze side who remain undefeated in all matches this season.
