It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the death of Lisa Cansdale who passed away on Tuesday 1st November 2022.
For most of her life, Lisa was a supporter of the Club and many members will remember her fondly. Cliff, Lisa, their children and grandchildren have all been involved with Belhus for many years.
Lisa was a scorer for over 30 years (being the first to use colour pens) whilst also holding official roles as Fixture Secretary (1981, 1982) and Secretary in 1987. She was also a Level One qualified cricket coach and a founder member of Belhus Ladies Cricket.
Lisa's funeral will be held at South Essex Crematorium, Ockendon Road, Corbets Tey, Upminster, RM14 2UY on Friday 11th November 2022 at 1.40pm. All members and friends welcome, it was Lisa's wish that those attending should not wear black. Family flowers only, instead, donations to Basildon Hospital's charity to support patient and staff welfare at their Renal unit can be made if you wish via www.justgiving.com/LisaCansdale where further information can be found.
