Leigh-on-Sea won the toss and elected to bat first, which ultimately favoured Belhus.

Belhus made an excellent start with the ball, with Alfie Bowden and Lucas Barnett producing an outstanding opening bowling spell. Both bowlers showed excellent control and accuracy, putting the Leigh-on-Sea batsmen under pressure during the early stages of the innings. Despite the pressure created by the Belhus opening attack, G. Fletcher produced an outstanding innings, falling just short of a deserved century with a superb 94. Fletcher struck the ball beautifully and provided the backbone of the Leigh-on-Sea innings. He received useful support from A Coleman (23), B Spencer (21) and A Higgins (20) as Leigh-on-Sea posted a competitive 203. Belhus' bowlers continued to work hard throughout the innings, with wickets shared across the attack.

Chasing 204 for victory, Belhus got off to an excellent start, with Klay Smith and Mahfooz Mazmunder putting together a strong opening partnership. The pair attacked the Leigh-on-Sea bowling and took the score to 61 before Klay Smith was dismissed for 13. Mahfooz continued his impressive innings, scoring 46 from 43 balls, including eight fours and a six, before eventually being dismissed. With the chase progressing, George Maidment took centre stage and produced a brilliant unbeaten 69 from 49 balls, hitting nine fours and two sixes, and played the decisive innings of the match. There were also useful contributions from Mohammad Sadman (18) and Aariyan Kansagra (22*). Despite losing wickets, Belhus remained in control of the chase.

Belhus reached the required 204 in 27.5 overs, finishing 204/5 and completing an excellent chase.
