Match report
Belhus 3rd XI 225 all out
Stanford-le-Hope 3rd XI 110-9
Belhus CC 3rd XI produced a strong all-round performance to secure a convincing 115-runs victory over Stanford-le-Hope 3rd XI in an enjoyable friendly encounter.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, Belhus posted an impressive 225 from their 40 overs. The innings was built around a crucial late contribution from Imran Mohammed, who, coming in at No. 8, played a superb unbeaten 70, guiding Belhus through the closing overs to a highly competitive total.
He was well supported by George Church (25) and Rakesh Reddy (18), while useful contributions from Alfie Bowden (16) and Harvey Stapleton (16) added valuable runs. Despite wickets falling at regular intervals, Belhus showed resilience and depth to push beyond the 200 mark.

The standout performer with the ball was Alfie Bowden, who delivered an exceptional spell of 4 overs, 4 maidens, 0 runs for 2 wickets, applying relentless pressure early on. He was well supported by Muthukumar Krishnasamy (2 for 19) and Alfie Ware (2 for 23), while Puneet Singh Bal (2 for 8) added further breakthroughs with an economical spell.
Additional contributions came from George Church (1 for 7) and Rakesh Reddy, whose tight bowling ensured Stanford-le-Hope never gained momentum. Sharp fielding and good catching backed up the bowlers to complete a comprehensive team performance.
Overall, it was a well-rounded display from Belhus, with strong contributions across the side securing a comfortable win and plenty of positives to take forward.
