Match report Belhus skipper Scott Sinfield won the toss in this 5th team friendly against Eastwood and were in a little bit of trouble after 14 overs and where 68 - 6. A great little partnership from Dexter Hill (28) and Riley MacAnspie (24) playing in his first adult game gave Belhus 5s a bit of a fighting chance for Evie Mae Baldwin to come in and get a few at the end to give us a respectable 159 on a tough wicket.

Evie took the form with the bat into her first bowling spell and although did take a wicket up front, was very economical even against the swashbuckling Michael Richardson (83). John Coshell was the one who took the early wickets. Belhus found it hard to remove top scorer Michael Richardson and Stephen Baldwin and evergreen Cliff Cansdale kept the scoring rate down only for Ronnie Shaw to come on and remove Eastwood's top scorer.

In a very tight finish, Evie Mae Baldwin stepped up to show her composure and take 2 Eastwood wickets at crucial times. It was then down to Neel Singh to defend 20 in the last over which he ably achieved, removing Eastwood skipper Mark Armitage with the last ball of the game.

Oh and not that he has mentioned it, but skipper Scott Sinfield took 5 catches behind the stumps in his first ever game as wicket keeper!!!! :)

Well done Belhus and thank you Eastwood for an enjoyable game.
