Belhus were put in to bat in this 10th HFEL match of the season but their batters weren't in the best of form as L. Ninan and J. Eade bowled well to take 4 and 3 wickets respectively to dismiss our 2nd XI for a lowly 111.

After tea, Horndon knocked off the required runs without fuss in just 17.2 overs and marched home to a comfortable 8-wicket victory. Well played Horndon.

Not a good day for our 2nd XI. They are currently perched in 5th position in their Division and will be looking for a few good performances in the remaining eight matches if they are to gain promotion.
