In this third match of the Hamro Foundation Essex League season, Harlow were asked to bat first and the Belhus decision was justified as they dismissed their visitors for an under-par 137. Afif Khan was our lead wicket-taker in collecting 4 for 21 from his 7.4 overs.

In our run-chase after a delightful tea, opener Alfie Ware crashed 55 from 28 balls, and with contributions from Aftab Mohamed (33) and an undefeated 24 from Jack Plane, the 2nd XI eased home to a comfortable 7-wickets win.

And in receiving 20 league points, skipper Adam Dudmish's side now sits atop of their Division.
