Mayfield won the toss on an overcast day at North Stifford. A good opening spell from Baiju Mohamed got the important wicket of David Stark. However, beautiful knocks from Ravi Pooran (93) and Shaf Kazi (100) who put the Belhus bowlers to the sword and made an above par score of 253 with Baiju the only bowler coming out with any real damage to their figures with 7 overs, 2 for 19.

In reply and in truth, Belhus were well beaten on the day with only Wayne Read (33) and a lovely innings from Aftab Mohamed with his personal high score of 79.

Not Belhus CC's best day, but we really enjoy the fixture with Mayfield CC and wish them all the best in the coming season.
