Batting first in this seventh Hamro Foundation Essex League match of the season, only skipper Jack Plane (56), Wayne Read (36) and Riley Everett (35) were able to show their worth as we managed to post just 209-6 from our 50 overs.

In their run-chase after tea, Frenford reached their target quite easily in 41 overs with opener Haroon Zakria (66) leading the way in seeing his side register a comfortable 5-wickets win.

Nevertheless, our 2nd XI maintained their 2nd place position in their Division.
