Batting first, Orsett only managed to post a total of 112 with Shayan Taimuri top-scoring with 23. Four of our bowlers took 2 wickets apiece - Alan Maidment, Josh Reynolds, Aftab Mohamed and Bhavesh Dharmani.

After tea, and confident of chasing down the modest target, only Michael Cansdale (20) and skipper Martin Mailey (14*) were able to reach double figures and we just failed to secure a victory to lose by 9 runs. A good game although not one of our better days. Well played Orsett.
