Our Belhus Fireflies (the awesome girls' team) faced off against the Basildon&Pitsea Buffalos (the mixed team) at North Stifford Village green. The Buffalos batted first and scored a massive 278, but the Fireflies didn't let that scare them. They showed off their super fielding skills, running a few Buffalos out.

After a quick drinks break, it was the Fireflies' turn to bat. They ran between the wickets like cheetahs and their calling was spot on. The Buffalos tried hard, but our girls were unstoppable! The match ended with the Fireflies scoring an impressive 247, just 31 runs behind. Even though they didn't win, their smiles were brighter than the sun! Both teams had a blast, with laughter and cheers filling the air. The Fireflies may have lost, but they won everyone's hearts with their amazing spirit.

And a big thank you goes out to the umpires, coaches, scorers, and the fantastic parents who cheered and supported the teams throughout the match. Your enthusiasm and support made the day even more special!
