Belhus got the senor tour off to great start at Norwich with a fine 73 run win in this 40 Over match.

Batting first, Read and Thompson set the tone of the innings scoring quickly, before Thompson fell for an excellent 69, then Read for a fine 75, E Barnett and D Sinfield, who also took 3 catches, continued this, Barnett with a good 50 and Sinfield a nice 42 and then South African N Hornbuckle helping us out for the day, retired for a very good 59, R Lucas and C Didd then saw us up to 349, the highest score we have recorded on tour.

It was always going to be tough ask chasing such a big score but all the Norwich batsmen gave it a really good go and A Watson went off great guns with a fine 59 before he fell to D Sinfield, Collman 19 fell to Baker, Clarke and Lovick to Humpries for 27 and 30, L Brister and J Kantam both batted well for there 54 and 49 out to Lucas and Didd, then Hornbuckle end the innings as father son pair Hall had to leave due to going on hoilday.

A fine start to the tour and a lovely day was had by all, as always.
