Batting first belhus only managed to post 153 in their 40 overs, as J Plane 30, W Read 38 and Brandon Milliard 34 not out, were the only batsmen to really trouble the scorers.

In reply, the young Belhus attack tried to restrict the Old Sectonians batsmen, but struggled. It wasn't until the introduction of Brandon Millard that the first wicket fell at 47, with a very smart catch at slip from Read. Riley Everett came on and picked up a wicket, with an excellent catch in the deep from Millard, but the pick of the bowlers was Puneet Sing Bal, who picked up 4 wickets for 38 runs from his 8 overs.
