Belhus batted first on a glorious sunny day at North Stifford. After an opening partnership of 59 between Danny and Joe Joyce, our 1st XI looked set to post a respectable total. And we then progressed to a satisfactory 112-2 before a 'Belhus Collapse' ensued and we contrived to lose an astonishing 8 wickets for 19 runs to be dismissed for a paltry 131.

In their run-chase, Chingford found themselves in trouble as they stumbled to 48-4, but sensible batting by Josh Kelly (58) and Peter McDermott (35*) saw them march to a comfortable 5 wickets victory.

After 11 matches into the 18-match league season, Belhus sit in 7th place in the Premier Division with 110 points, while Chingford are perched just 3 points behind in 8th position.
