Match report Belhus made the long trip to Rankins on a sunny evening for this U15 friendly and came out on top comfortably. Skipper Ted Waters won the toss for Belhus and chose to bat. Alex Blake was the batting highlight as he had no problem moving up to open the batting. He enjoyed himself at the top of the order making a rapid 35 off just 26 balls hitting 4 fours before retiring. Waters (18), Sammy Fairweather (16) and Rob Healy (23*) added more sedately paced support as Belhus totalled 155-2 from their 20 overs. Scarlett and Holland were the wicket takers for the home side.

In reply Rankins were soon in trouble as Charlotte Waters (1-4) and Maddox Brown (1-8) showed excellent accuracy for U13's stepping into the U15 arena. Alex Blake continued his fine all round match taking 2 for 8 backed up by a fine high catch by Aidan Fourie. Tyler Robertson (1-5) chipped in with the important wicket of McFadden who made a quick fire 21. Skipper Waters took 1 for 10 and took two catches in successive balls of another U13 Sammy Fairweather (2-9). Stalwart of the Rankins innings was opener George Bennett who made a fine unbeaten 36.

A good win for Belhus who completed a busy week with three wins. They now take a break from their local fixtures to support the youth tour to East Anglia week commencing August 3rd.
