Match report The Under 11s welcomed Benfleet to what was potentially their last game in the 2020 Covid Season. Losing the toss and bowling first, Belhus once again snagged 2 run outs in the first 3 overs. Josh rebuilt for Benfleet with his (9) runs, but early on Frankie Fink picked up 1-6 as well as Finley Williams picking up 1-9 off there 2 overs. Plenty of extras kept Benfleet's score ticking along as they managed to scurry to 83 runs. Only Ben Gladman made further inroads with his superb 2-13 off his 3 overs. For Benfleet, highlight of their innings was a very nice (16) scored by Samuel at the end.

With a decent score of 65 put on the board by Benfleet, the Under 11s had to start well but unfortunately didn't, losing 5 wickets in the first 9 overs. However, Oliver Davy changed the momentum of the game completley with his wicket-less (17) runs including 3 boundaries combined with efforts from Reuben Hart (10) and Aaryian Kansagra (7) helped push Belhus to needing 21 off the final 4 overs. Ben Gladman (7) and Alfie Ware with an impressive innings of (16) runs came together and despite an excellent direct hit run out in the 20th over, managed to get us over the line in the final over.

An excellent game of cricket backed up once again by the batting which has let us down more often than not this season.
