The U11s travelled to Benfleet on a nice sunny Sunday morning. Winning the toss and bowling first, Benfleet started steadily and were 26/0 after 8 overs however, the middle and end period of there innings belonged to Belhus as Reuben Hart, Aaryian Kansagra, Austin Medlock and Alfie Ware all put the breaks on and picked up a wicket each. Ben Gladman then finished off with best figures of 2-10 off his 2 overs as Benfleet lost 6 wickets in the last 12 overs and posted a NET score of 51 runs.

The Belhus innings started shakily as Lewys Worley was bowled very first ball however Belhus regained through an impressive innings from Max Ballard (10) 2 quick wickets in the 7th over for Benfleet dented our momentum. However, William Sullivan (16) and Reuben Hart (10) then came together and put on 33 runs for the 5th wicket with some fantastic running between the wickets to put Belhus in front after 12 overs. It was plain sailing at this point as Austin Medlock (13) and Ben Gladman (16) batted aggresively and punished anything loose from the tired Benfleet bowlers to push Belhus up to 115 after 20 overs.

A fantastic team performance with the bat this week with 5 batsman reaching well into double figures.
