Belhus Cricket Club Won By 122 Runs

Match report Skipper Henry Overy had a fine day at the office as Belhus romped to a fine win by an eye watering margin of 122 runs at North Stifford. Firstly Henry won the toss and opening the batting he made a deft 25 before retiring. He was ably supported by Lewis Blake (26), Rob Healy (25) and Brandon Millard (25) who all retired. Oliver Plunkett made a rapid 21 and Aidan Fourie hit 14 not out in quick time as Belhus racked up a daunting 194-4 in their 24 overs. Butler, Benny and Mitchell were the wicket takers for the SOS EMT side.

Overy then grabbed the ball and took four wickets for 9 runs in his 2 overs, including a burst of 3 wickets in four balls. Charlotte Waters bowled very well to take 2 for 7 including the dangerous Butler for 7. Plunkett bowled with chilling economy to take 2 for just 2 and was also a wicket Fourie, who also made a run out. Plunkett added two catches to top off his fine performance and Waters and Tyler Robertson also held catches in what was a dominant win. Sawh top scored for the visitors with 18 but this a Belhus day.
