Our 4th XI bowled magnificently to dismiss Benfleet for just 78 as Cliff Cansdale and Josh Reynolds took 2 wickets apiece and wily skipper John Wilson captured 4 for 15 from his 6 overs.

After tea, openers Jack Thomas (37) and John Tomlinson (32 not out) saw us home to a comfortable 9-wickets win - and lifted us into 2nd place in SNEL Premier Division East at the half-way stage of the season.
