Match report Belhus entertained Wickford and were met with a biting cold wind, hailstones, rain and generally flipping cold elements...brass monkey weather.

Wickford took first knock and were skittled by Antonio (5 for19) and Imran (3 for 22) on a green, helpful wicket.

In reply, Belhus knocked off the runs with alacrity. The dark clouds above North Stifford were darkening. A very nice knock of 43 by Mr Fogg, including sumptuous drives and resounding pulls, sped Belhus to victory...just in time as the polar winds and rain scattered the players on their way off the field.A good victory on a very cold day.

The champagne moment of the day was Sue Waters' splendid tea...jam and cream scones, tasty sandwiches and piping hot tea...the latter was very welcome.
