Belhus CC 3rd XI won the toss and elected to bat first, looking to make the most of the dry conditions and put runs on the board.

Belhus batting line up produced a strong team batting performance with contributions throughout the order.. The innings was held together superbly by Rakesh Reddy, whose excellent 68 runs provided the backbone of the total and ensured Belhus posted a challenging score. Valuable support came from throughout with partnerships across the innings helping Belhus build momentum and maintain pressure on the opposition.

After the break, bowlers kept things tight despite the warm conditions, regularly taking wickets and preventing Orsett & Thurrock from building any significant partnerships. Evie-Mae Baldwin and Usman Rahim were the standout performers with three wickets each, while Lucas Barnett, George Church and Rakesh Reddy all claimed important wickets. Aariyan Kansagra also played a key role with an economical spell that helped keep the scoring rate under control.

It was a thoroughly deserved win built on a collective team effort!
