Belhus CC won the toss and elected to bat first but found themselves under pressure from the outset against a disciplined bowling attack. Alfie Ware and Zaheer Ahmad were the only two batsmen who offered some resistance as wickets tumbled around them. Belhus' innings was ripped apart by an outstanding spell from Rob Evans, whose accuracy and relentless line proved too much for the middle and lower order. Evans produced remarkable figures of 8 for 26 from his 8 overs.

In reply, visitors chased confidently despite early breakthrough provided by Alfie Bowden who claimed 3 for 30 from his 8 overs.

While Evans made full use of of the helpful surface to dismantle the Belhus batting order, the Belhus bowlers were unable to extract the same relentless accuracy, allowing the visitors to edge home by four wickets.
