Belhus won the toss and elected to field first.

And the decision proved the right one as Hornchurch struggled against some accurate Belhus bowling. Their 6 bowlers shared the wickets between them in dismissing Hornchurch for an under-par total of 119.

The Belhus run-chase got off to a great start as openers Afra Rose (42) and Richard Waters (18) put on a commanding 55-run partnership. And although they both fell lbw to Dean Skipper and George Church and Ethan Barnett were also dismissed by Skipper, Rakesh Reddy (21*) and Joban Badesha (16*) saw captain Martin Mailey's team march home to a comfortable 6-wickets win. Well played Belhus.

And our 3rd XI still sit in 2nd place in their Division, just 12 points behind leaders Westcliff with 3 matches remaining.
