At South Ockendon Recreation Ground this was the tenth League match of the season. Winning the toss, our 3rd XI elected to bat first but only managed to post an under-par score of 182-8 after the allotted 40 overs, thanks primarily to another half-century (55) by Reuben Hart who became the Club's first batter to reach 1,000 runs for the season. His sterling effort was supported by skipper Martin Mailey (45) and Imran Mohammed (24*).

In their run-chase, Westcliff opener Abul Hasnat cracked a fine 80 from just 53 balls but failed to gain support from the rest of his team as they were bowled out for 142 to give us a 40-runs victory. George Church and Imran Mohammed showed their skills by capturing 3 wickets apiece.

Our 3rd XI still sit in 3rd place in their Division with eight matches remaining.
