Batting first on a very hot day, Billericay could only rustle up an under-par 174-9 after their allotted 40 overs thanks largely to an excellent spell by George Blowden who captured 4 for 25 from his 8 overs.

In our run-chase, Chris Didd struck a quick 44 and Henry Overy announced his return after an absence through injury with a fine 65, and then George Bowden enjoyed a good day by stroking 19* to steer his side home to a convincing 4-wicket victory in just 28.1 overs.

A fine win by our 3rd XI who are placed in 3rd position in their Division after 8 matches of their 2025 campaign
