After losing the toss, our 3rd XI were pleased to have been invited to bat first on a hot afternoon, but their smiles soon disappeared when they were dismissed for a paltry 103 with the wickets being shared between the five Westcliff bowlers.

After an early tea, Westcliff had no difficulty in chasing down the runs to cruise home to a convincing 6-wicket win.

This was a little blip in our 3rd XI's league season as they sit comfortably in 4th position in their Division after 7 matches.
