In their opening HFEL match of 2025 our 3rd XI batted first and were pleased to post a total of 236 for 5 from their allotted 40 overs, with young Vansh Mehra showing his class with an undefeated 93 and support from Tom Thompson (37) and Imran Mohammed (29*).

After tea, Leigh-on-Sea had no answer to fine performances from the Belhus bowlers as Baiju Mohamed and George Bowden collected 3 wickets apiece and the 3rd XI romped home to a convincing 161-runs victory.

So the 3rd XI remain undefeated with much optimism for the rest of the season.
