In this 17th HFEL League match, Hornchurch Athletic batted first and racked up a commanding score of 306-3 off their 45 overs. With skipper Humphries, Klein and Little all posting half centuries, no bowler troubled the scorecard. However Oliver Davy picked up 2-66 off his 9 overs.

In reply, Belhus initially lost 2 early wickets, however Mehra (58) and Dudmish (53) put Belhus back in the driving seat. Mehra unfortunately fell caught behind, and after Dudmish had to retire hurt when set, it was up to the tail to pick up the pieces as we closed on 235-9 off our overs.

With 1 game left in the season, skipper Adam Dudmish will be hoping for a win to boost some morale into the closing stage of this season.
