Redbridge won the toss and elected to bat first in this sixth Hamro Foundation Essex League match of the season.

Unfortunately for Redbridge they came up against Belhus at their very best as Oliver Davy and Ashir Saleem took 2 wickets apiece, and Afif Khan bowled superbly to snare 5 for 6 from just 7.2 overs to dismiss Redbridge for a lowly 109. It was Afif's maiden '5for' and a well-deserved one at that.

After tea, it took us 18.5 overs to knock off the runs with Wasif Ghory leading the chase with 32 and Alfie Ware (25) and Vansh Mehra (24*) supporting the cause as we eased home to a comfortable 7-wickets victory.

And our 2nd XI continue their good form by maintaining their position as leaders of their Division.
