This was the final match of our 2024 Senior Tour. It was played in memory of our popular friend and former committed groundsman at North Stifford, Peter Bright, who was living in Diss at the time of his sad passing in 2023.

We welcomed the appearance in the Belhus team of Peter's son Colin, his grandsons Owen and Gavin, and great grandson James. It was also nice to see daughter Janet and granddaughter Rhiannan who also attended the day.

Belhus batted first in the 40-overs game and posted a reasonable total of 216 for 7 with Billy Winter (52) and Lewis Blake (50) stroking half-centuries.

After tea, Diss had little difficulty in chasing down the required runs in 32 overs as Oscar Skilleter made a fine half-century (52) to see his side home to a comfortable 5 wickets victory.
