Match report A very young Belhus side, supplemented with a sprinkling of "older" heads travelled to the Royal Liberty School for this friendly fixture. Batting first, the home side lost a wicket with the 3rd ball of the game, Vigors clean bowling M. Benson. This however brought French to the wicket who carried his bat through the remainder of the innings for a lusty 101 not out. Supported by Collier 49, another Vigors victim and P Benson (27), the Casuals reached a total of 238 for 3 off their 40 Overs.

The Belhus innings started well and the visitors looked in with a good chance of achieving their target. However, the pendulum swung in the home side's favour when both openers Barry Ruck (39) and Lee Shipton (33) fell to successive balls from Prakash in the 18th Over.

The scoreboard kept moving but despite 31 from Don East and 48 not out from Cliff Cansdale, Belhus ended 40 short of their goal.
