In this eleventh Hamro Foundation Essex League match of the season, Belhus batted first but only Ryan Wells (58) and Joe Joyce (40) troubled the scorers and were dismissed for a lowly 158, as five of their six bowlers claimed 2 wickets apiece.

In reply, Epping chased down the runs in a matter of 32.4 overs as opener Imrul Kayes struck a masterful, unbeaten century (104) to steer his side home to a convincing 9-wickets win.

With 7 matches of the season remaining, our 1st XI are still perched in 3rd place in Division One, just 5 points behind 2nd placed Fives & Heronians and 26 points behind the leaders Epping.
