Belhus batted first and Joe Joyce stroked a fine 89 as other batters chipped in to enable us to reach a competitive 244 for 8 from our allotted 50 overs.

After tea, we managed to pinch Fives back to 133 for 6 and felt confident that the match had swung in our favour. But Feroze Khushi had other ideas. He batted superbly to see his team home to a 2-wickets win with just 8 balls remaining to post an undefeated 150 not out (the next highest score was 18) - and record one of the most commanding innings seen at North Stifford by an opposition batter.

And along with his 3 catches and 1 wicket, it was a memorable day for him as well as all other players who witnessed what was a remarkable single-handed victory. Well played Feroze.
