Batting first in this sixth Essex League match of the season, our 2nd XI could only muster a what we thought was an under-par total of 167 all out.

After tea, OSS were comfortably in the driving seat in the run-chase but they couldn't maintain their momentum as we ripped through the lower order to dismiss them for 148 and march home to an impressive 19-runs victory.

This fine all-round team performance was led by Brandon Millard who produced a superb spell from his 16 overs to capture 5 for 23 and register a well-deserved career best in the process. Well played Belhus.
