Eton Manor v Belhus Cricket Club Midweek XI on Wed 12 Aug 1998 at 2.00pm
Belhus Cricket Club Won by 7 Wickets
Match report
Midweek Friendly
Eton manor 115
Belhus 116 for 3
Won by 7 Wickets
Eton Manor batted first and could only manage 115, as P Hall and S Bayford proved too much for them with the ball. Only Cole 30 and Hillier 27 showed any real resistance, as Hall picked up 3 for 43 off 11.1 overs and Bayford shined with an excellent 5 for 15 off 9 overs.
In the run-chase, Belhus cruised to victory in 26 overs as Read hit 32 before being given lbw, but P Huckstepp stole the show with his fine 54 not out, to see us comfortably home, with the help of G Plane 15 not out.
