Goresbrook batted first and score a nice 219 for 5 in there 40 overs, much thanks to a dogged 76 not out from A Livett who carried his bat through the innings, L Barwick assisted with 35 and Walker 28 not out also at the end.
G Hart picked up 2 for 66 from 13 overs.
In reply T Thompson went early for 2 and when W Read fell for 34, we needed something special to get us back in the game and at 106 for 7, we couldn't see that coming, but a super effort from R Dopson with 65 not out and 28 not out from J Robertson got us right back in the game, but unfortunately we fell just short of the total.
Dopson's innings included 9 fours and 2 sixes and Robertson's 5 fours, J Brown and J Wilkinson were the pick of the bowlers, Brown with 3 for 26 and Wilkinson with 2 for 5.
