Batting first we posted a very healthy 264 for 4 in our 40 overs, with much thanks to W Read with a splendid 113, before he got carried away and got stumped, his inning included some 17 fours and 1 six when he was out at 229 for 3.
He was supported by P Huckstepp with a nice 35 with 5 fours and then T Lincoln.
It was Lincoln who continued the momentum of the innings after Read had gone and he finished on 75 not out in lovely knock that that also include 11 fours and 1 six.
D Innes did his best with the ball for Offham, bowling 20 overs and taking all 4 wickets to fall for 69 runs.

Chasing a big total is never easy, but G Day had a very goo go and opening up jus like Read did he also hit a lovely 100, his 18 though, just wasn't enough for his side, as we bowled well and only G Barlow 16 and M England with 35 were any help to him.
J Banners spin proved to much for the opposition batsmen as they fell into his trap and he picked up 5 for 49, then Richard Waters cleaned up at the end with 3 for 11, as we rounded off a nice day out and a good win.
