Belhus beat High Roding in this very good 40 over Sunday friendly, batting first we posted 204 for 8, after losing D Aldridge for 0 and W Read after hitting a six.
M Winter steady the ship with nice 35 with 6 fours, J Banner got a good 32 with 6 fours, but it was the lower order 7, 8,9 and 10 that got us out of trouble, S Morris 18, P Huckstepp with 28 and 4 fours, S Bayford 24 not out with 3 fours and R Waters 23 not out with 1 four and 2 sixes, as he and Bayford put on 48 for our last stand.
N Wilson the pick of the High Roding attack with 3 for 32.

In reply High Roding seemed to be in trouble at 13 for 3, but C Tredgett scored a nice 61 and T Kerry 20 and N Wilson 32 bringing them back into the game.
Our bowlers worked hard at restricting the batsmen and making them take chances and this resulted in the last wicket being a run out and good game came to a close and we had won by just 13 runs.
J Robertson was the pick of the attack with 2 for 9 off 8 overs with 4 maidens.
