Batting first Clacton posted a huge 311 for 2 in there 50 overs, the highest opposition score, we have ever had against us, as R Radley and A Poole both hit tons 107 and 106 and then retired to allow others a bat, L Jackson scored 35, P Farrow 21 and I Vine 30 not out at the close.
In reply we never really tried to chase such a big score but use the time as more batting practice.
T Lambert fell for 7, R Heffernan 18 and C Adams 30 before S Morris and M winter got together for a decent 119 partnership, Morris with a good 55 not out with 8 fours and Winter a lovely 72 not out with 10 fours.
