As the top two clashed, it was Young Internationals that came out on top in this reduced over game, due to rain.

Batting first, YI scored at just over 4 an over and posted a competetive 178, S Bukhari top scored with a good 50, as others chipped in, T Mushtaq with 28 and R Chowdury 26 not out and T Aslam 14 not out. J Roberttson picked up 4 for 48 and D Aldridge joined the club with the impressive figures of 3 for 16 off 10 overs with 5 maidens doing his utmost in trying to restrict their batsmen. Rob Water picked up 1 for 27.

In reply, we lost T Lambert early, but D Aldridge rounded of a solid performance on debut, with a good 43 and and combined with W Read 51, as they tried to get us back in the game. But we lost Aldridge at 97 for 3 and Read at 122 for 4 and, behind the run rate, the game slipped away from us. But credit to the Young Internationals' attack who all bowled well to ensure their victory, leaving Belhus to mull over what could have been.
