Paslow Common won the toss and elected to bat and our attack yet again combined very well to reduce them to just 112 off 39.2 overs. Loader hit 24 and a fine 45 from Wellman were main run-scorers, as eight other batsmen could only manage 8 runs between them and Grumptt hit 17 at the death. S Liddiard was wicketless bowling 6 overs for 6 runs, Rob Waters picked up 2 for 18 off 9, M Winter 2 for 43 off 10 and K Hall 3 for 31 off his 10 and there was a quick 3 for 8 for J Robertson off 4.1 overs.

Low scores can sometimes prove difficult as we all know, and at 37 for 5 we were in a bit of trouble, but with M Winter already in and Joined by W Read, Commons interest was soon dampend, as the pair took us to victory in 30 overs for another win Winter with a solid 43 which included 7 fours and Read 25 with just 3, fours the last one claiming all the points and putting us right back at the top of the table, with the huge game luming next week against Young Internationals.
