This was the first-ever match at North Stifford to be live-streamed.

Skipper Billy Winter won the toss and elected to bat, whereupon our 1st XI proceeded to post a competitive total of 246-4 after their allotted 45 overs, thanks to fine half-centuries from Danny Joyce (50), Joe Joyce (78) and Max Osborne (60*).

In their run-chase after tea, Colchester & East Essex were never quite in the hunt. Spinner Sahan Nanayakkara collected 4 for 31 from his 9 overs and Dan Dreher and Max Osborne took 2 wickets apiece as we marched home to a comfortable 115-runs victory.

We now sit in 6th place in the 10-clubs Premier Division with just 3 matches of the season remaining - against Hornchurch (in 4th place), Billericay (in 9th place) and Harold Wood (in 10th place).
