Belhus Cricket Club Saturday 1st XI v Barking on Sat 23 May 1998 at 1.30pm
Belhus Cricket Club Won By 3 Wickets
Match report
Barking & Dagenham Post League 45 overs
Barking 180
Belhus 181 for 7
Won By 3 Wickets
Barking won the toss and elected to bat and posted a resonable 180, with M King 46 and M Welch 46 not out the mainstay of their innings. R Waters, K Hall and P Stone all picked up 2 wickets, 1 each for S Liddiard and M Winter in restricting Barking.
We lost two quick wickets in reply, but A Cayless 23 and W Read 32 repaired the damage and then a very good 60 from C Adams ensured the victory was nearly ours when he fell at 174 for 7, leaving Waters and Hall to see us home for another good win, making it 3 out of 3.
