Belhus won the toss and batted first. W Read and T Lambert got us off to a great start, Read fell for 45, with 10 fours with the score at 84, Lambert continued and missed out on a worthy hundred, falling for 89, with the score at 178 for 6, his innings also included 10 fours and rare six. A Willetts picked up a very good five wicket haul, 5 for 29 off 7 overs.

Laindon were never in the hunt in reply, and the wickets just kept tumbling as our attack bowled very well and the wickets were shared around. Rob Waters was the pick of the bowlers with 4 for 18 off 10 overs with 3 maidens, K Hall 2 for 9 off 6 overs and P Stone 3 for 19 also off 6 overs, as we won by a very big margin.
