This really was a match of two very good bowlers.

Belhus won the toss and batted first and were reduced to 110, in warm cloudy conditions we just didnt cope with some excellent bowling from the Sanresbrook attack, at the end we lost our last 6 wickets for just 22 runs.

Jim Swailes once again leading the way with a lovely spell of 20 overs with some 12 maidens and picking 5 for only 28 runs, showing us what a priceless asset he is, he was backed up all the way by D Martin 3 for 33 and N Parsons 2 for 25 off 9.

No doubt Snaresbrook would have fancied their chances of picking up all the points after such great efforts with the ball and they got off to a good start, but then lost their first wicket with the score at 45 and their last at 71, with all 10 wickets falling for just 26 runs. S Douglas scoring 30 of them in an innings that consisted of 6 ducks, wickets fell at 45 for 1, 45 for 2, 50 for 3, 64 for 4, 66 for 5, 66 for 6, 68 for 7 and the last 3 wickets all falling with the score at 71. This was due to some fabulous bowling from 2nd change Keith Hall, who took control of the game with his amazing match winning figures of 12 overs, 6 maidens, 7 wickets for 12 runs, He had the ball swinging all over the place and the Snaresbrook batsmen, just could not cope with it and at the other end piling on the pressure for Hall to take advantage of, was Mark Winter with some really tight, line and length, bowling 12.5 overs, 4 maidens, 2 for 18, as they saw us home for what was, truly an amazing victory.
