In a cracking match against Chadwell Heath the game went right down to the wire.
Stuck in to bat Chadwell Heath were held to 155 in 46.1 overs, as we bowled very well, M Winter and A Tann doing most of the damage with the ball, Winter picked up 3 for 40 from 16 overs and 4 maidens, whilst Tann a five for, 5 for 29 off 14 overs with 4 maidens, S Liddiard also pick up a couple of wickets, for Heath, G Reynolds hit 34, I Gallagher 24, I Nicholson 21 and A Collins 25.

We made a very good start in reply, when M Guilbert 24, fell at 61 for 1, then W Readwith 40, at 70 for 2, the wickets continued to fall at regular intervals, keeping Heath interested and they never gave up and to be fair never did we and when the 5th and 6th wickets fell with the score at 100, Heath must have thought they were in, but the game was eb and flow both ways again and from 127 for 8, we worked our way to 154, then S Liddiard fell, bring M Price to the crease to join M Winter, a single was mangaged bring the scores level, but also Price on strike and he failed to hold out and was caught, as the game ended in real late drama and enjoyed by those lucky enough to be watching.
A Collins bowled superbly for 25 overs and took 5 for 60 with 8 maidens, I Nicholson 15 overs and picked up 2 for 33 with 6 maidens and I Gallagher 1 for 2 off 2 overs, picking up that all important wicket of Price at the death to ensure Heath did not lose.
